Upper West Side Milieu and Hot White Guilt (PLEASE GIVE)

Please give writer and director Nicole Holofcener and Katherine Keener an Oscar already. Please notice "Please Give" come Academy Award time for it's biting, authentic and hilarious glimpse at white privilege. Grade A

Iron Man..Iron Fan!

Though weaker in script and character development than its predecessor, Iron Man 2 delivers bombastic action set pieces, Mickey Rourke acting like...well psychotic Mickey Rourke with a russian accent ("I vant my byrrd") and Robert Downey Junior and Sam Rockwell hamming it up as suits who want to use technology, boobies and booze for different reasons. Much like Scar Jo's hot mojo, hair and tight boom-boom wardrobe this movie is extremely entertaining and a great kick-off of the 2010 season, unlike the poop-show that was Wolverine last year. Grade B+

"Iron Man" kicks off the summer movie season this Friday..Also up, the documentary "Babies" which traces the first 2 years of life (ah, the good old days of spittle and being forced to watch the Sound of Music with your older sisters) of four babies from different countries.
